Under Tom’s leadership, Donlen implemented a number of ways to measure and validate our approach to customer relationships, earning Donlen unprecedented year-over-year customer satisfaction and retention results. Because of his focus on Donlen’s service delivery model across all business units, Donlen maintains a year-over-year 99% customer retention rate.
Tom has deep roots in the automotive and commercial fleet industries. He began his career at Ford Motor Company where he held various sales and management roles including field sales, merchandising, and operations. Additionally, Tom held global leadership positions in general management, sales management, product development, quality, and operations in North America, UK, Japan, and Australasia with GE Commercial Finance – Fleet Services and GE Consumer Finance.
In his role as President, Tom is a member of the Hertz Executive Committee. In addition, Tom served as President of the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA), one of the fleet industry’s premiere organizations for networking, education, and standards. Tom is Black Belt certified in Six Sigma methodologies. He earned a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

During his 16 years at Hertz, Eric held several other key financial roles including Operations Finance as an Assistant Controller, US Rent-A-Car (RAC) and within Corporate Finance as Senior Director of Global Strategic Planning. Eric won the Hertz 2008 Global Leadership Award for his work in re-engineering processes in finance, including automating the corporate balance sheet and cash flow reporting.
Eric earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Dennis has received the Hertz Corporation Global Leadership Award for bringing the latest advancements and innovation in fleet technology to market. Dennis has more than 30 years of experience in technology. Prior to joining Donlen, he was an Advanced Systems Engineer for EDS (now Hewlett Packard), an independent IT consultant, System Architect at Niku Corp., and an Adjunct Faculty Member in the computer sciences department at Loyola University.
Dennis earned a BS in Music Engineering Technology and an MS in Information and Communication from Ball State University.

Jeff joined Donlen in 1998 as a manager in the customer service department and quickly worked his way up to director of customer service. Soon after, he was promoted again to Senior Vice President of Contact Center Operations where he was held responsible for business development, client relations, the operations and implementation of Donlen’s syndicated lease product, and driver safety and accident products.
When Hertz acquired Donlen in 2011, Jeff was promoted to VP, sales operations and strategy. In this role, he led the effort to maximize cross-selling revenue between Donlen and Hertz. After that, but prior to his promotion to SVP of customer experience and contact center operations, Jeff was the regional vice president of sales where he was responsible for oversight of all sales in the central region of the U.S.
During his time at Donlen, Jeff has had a number of key accomplishments, including the design and implementation of customer service phone metrics, the implementation of Donlen’s driver support call center, C.A.R.E., our proprietary CRM tool, and truck customer management strategies to support customers. Jeff also supervised sales cross-sell strategies between Donlen, Hertz RAC, and the Hertz Equipment Rental sales teams, which involved the training of over 400 sales team members.

Before joining Donlen in 2017, Ferreira fulfilled various global sales and marketing leadership roles at Volkswagen AG, representing exclusive captive finance brands such as Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti Financial Services in Australasia, Brazil, Europe, and North America. Prior to these roles, he represented GE Fleet Services in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), Avis RAC and Avis Fleet Services in Sub- Saharan Africa in various executive leadership capacities.
In addition to speaking English, Dutch, German and Portuguese, Dr. Ferreira holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing, a master’s degree in business administration, and a doctoral degree in business management from Liverpool University (UK) and Swiss Management Business Schools.

Throughout his career, Jim has led customer-focused initiatives that define corporate goals in terms that can be understood by customers, and he has helped align functional areas of companies to better deliver on customer commitments.
Prior to joining Donlen, Jim held various senior leadership positions in Marketing and Insurance products at GE (Partnership Marketing Group) over a period of 17 years. After that, he became Ceridian’s Senior Vice President of Enterprise Account Management where he worked with Ceridian’s largest clients to develop programs to improve retention and growth strategies. Most recently, he served as President and COO of Roadside Protect, a specialty roadside assistance administrator.
In addition to being certified as a Six Sigma Quality Black Belt, Jim holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Kellogg GSM, Northwestern University as well as a BS in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.

The start of Khalid’s career consisted of various engineering roles before joining GE as a Controls Engineer in the Aeroderivatives business where he oversaw the conversion of the first gas turbine plant to run on ethanol. From there, he held various management and leadership positions at United Airlines centered around setting up two new teams to drive productivity and increase revenue by tapping into a market segment that was not serviced by the existing sales channel.
After his time at United Airlines, Khalid made the move to Hertz to lead indirect sourcing categories. Khalid was then promoted to Vice President, Project Management, leading the successful launch of the Hertz Ultimate Choice program across 52 Hertz airport locations to better serve customer needs and provide tools to increase employee effectiveness. After a year in operations, Khalid switched back to Procurement and became responsible for all non-fleet procurement and vendor management at Hertz, overseeing $2B in spend and $250M in revenue.
Khalid has a Mechanical Engineering degree from GIKI, Pakistan and an MBA from the University of Texas – Austin

Ilese’s wealth of senior corporate legal and compliance experience includes almost 25 years with companies such as The Walt Disney Company, in which Ilese ultimately held the role of senior counsel, and Wyndham Worldwide, in which Ilese served as the EVP and General Counsel of RCI, and the EVP, Legal Affairs for Shell Vacations.
Ilese earned her Doctor of Law degree from the University of Chicago, and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan. Ilese also earned her CPA in the State of Illinois.
